Fashion Color Trends 2023 – 2024
Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris revealed what the color trends would be for end 2023 through 2024. Of course, you’ll have your color preferences and favorites, but the following are the colors that are being talked about.
Red
Red symbolizes passion, energy, and boldness and there are two new red colors being introduced, “Fiery Red,” a vibrant and intense shade, and “Viva Magenta,” a dark, intense, and brilliant hue.
Yellow
Yellow reminds us of warmth and sunshine and tends to make us happy.
Light Blue
Blue is reminiscent of sky and the sea, and has become a popular, trendy color for 2023-2024. Two new popular light blue colors are “Blue Atoll,” akin to tropical ocean waters, and “Lacecap Hydrangea,” a lovely and feminine blue floral.
Orange and Red Orange
Orange says vivacity and sophistication, and red orange is dramatic and impulsive.
Green
Green adds a natural, earthy touch to a winter wardrobe. Specifically, “Olive Oil Green”—a somewhat golden green—is the trending shade of green for the upcoming season.
Grey
Grey has always been a popular neutral color and the new “Lava Smoke Grey” is taking the stage among the trending colors of the upcoming season.
Brown
“Fired Brick” is a reddish-brown hue that is versatile, working well with other neutral shades like beige, black, and white, as well as with bolder colors like yellow or orange.
Beige
Another neutral is the beige family and it’s entering the season with an emphasis on a warm, monochromatic look that is sophisticated yet comfortable. Beige tones can also pair well with other colors, and one of my favorites is beige and powder pink to create a feminine, romantic look.
Pink
“Tender Peach,” much like pastel pink, and “Candy Pink” are two shades that are making the scene this season.
Purple
Shades of purple that will be trending are “Sparkling Grape,” a vibrant and intense shade of purple, and “Rose Violet,” an alluring fuchsia that conveys vitality. These can create exciting color contrasts with vibrant colors like green and yellow, or can be worn with neutrals like beige, gray, and black for a sophisticated look.
